Science in Photographs

by Almira Mortel 3ad7

A photograph is like
Capturing an old city from memory
With the people
And the speed of memory
To hold

It is like the wind,
It feels much colder as it shares
The breeze with the people
That she truly cares.

Through perspectives, acceleration
And speed, a photograph has been made.
We may be separated through time or
Our sciences may split us apart
But the memories won’t fade
to approximately opposite
Sides of the globe
Stocked in my frontal lobe

Because a photograph
Is like an autograph
A flash, a speed of light
A science that you will
Never understand
Because it will always
Invite.
